The Jazz Age has taken its toll on Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald’s marriage, as partying with manic determination begins to undermine their world. Fiction and reality blur as Zelda becomes fixed on the idea that she is no more than another character in one of Scott’s stories, whilst Scott pushes himself to the edge to finish the manuscript of The Great Gatsby - a task which their increasing alcoholism has made near impossible.
